Post Doctoral Fellow

Opening for 1 Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Dr. Ramanjulu Sunkar’s lab within the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater campus.

This position will be performing research on how Regulation of gene expression plays a central role and determines almost all biological processes in higher eukaryotes. Using molecular, biochemical and genetic analysis, Sunkar laboratory is interested in interrogating microRNA- and epigenetics-mediated gene regulations to better understand how plants thrive under stress.

Opening for Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Respiratory Diseases

Opening for Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Plant-Microbe Interactions

This is a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the discipline of molecular plant-microbe interactions with 75% research and 25% teaching responsibilities. We seek applications from dynamic and motivated scientists who have molecular/biochemical expertise in one or more of the following areas: plant pathology, plant-microbial symbiosis, or the phytobiome. Candidates with demonstrated capabilities to apply cutting-edge systems biology approaches to better understand plant disease resistance mechanisms or beneficial effects of plant-microbe interactions are preferred.
